They are not the highest - an accolade reserved for Angel Falls in Venezuela - but they are the largest in total size - some 272 cataracts make up Iguazu Falls around three massive horseshoe valleys, two of which are located in Argentina & one, in Brasil. The region sports exuberant tropical vegetation, the foliage of the great ferns, the canes of the bamboos, the graceful trunks of the palms &  thousands of species of trees, with their glasses bending over the abyss adorned with mosses, red begonias, orchids of gold, bright bromeliads & vines with flowers trumpets. These all are a definitely must see.

The Great Adventure combines the essence of the Iguazú National Park: the jungle and the falls in a single tour.

You will enter the jungle through the narrow Yacaratiá Trail in units designed for this particular environment. Bilingual guides (Spanish and English) will help interpret their natural and cultural wealth of the place.

This 5 km vehicular route culminates in the Puerto Macuco jungle base. After descending 100 meters you will arrive at the pier where you can board the boats with which you will go 6 km down the canyon of the Lower Iguazu River towards the area of waterfalls enjoying the rapid flow.

We will take you to the base of Salto Tres Musqueteros watching the set of Brazilian and Argentine jumps, with the Garganta del Diablo crowning the view of the canyon. Subsequently, you will reach the maximum point of emotion when facing the incomparable Salto San Martín, second in terms of size and the largest that a boat can approach.

After visiting these jumps, you will navigate 6 km downstream, including 2 km of rapids, to dock at the Puerto Macuco jetty. From there you will climb more than 150 meters of steep stairs to the Macuco stop. You will return by land vehicle along the Yacaratiá trail to the offices near the Old Hotel Cataratas, where the excursion will end. Duration: 2:15 a.m.
